Photography | Design

Design has always been a part of me. When I decided to go to architecture school I was (and still am) very passionate about solving problems and creating beautiful and functional spaces. What I didn’t know is how much art and design would be my essence. All art forms have been an enormous inspiration to me; I have always admired the courage it takes from artists to express themselves creating thoughtful and inspiring pieces in such a competitive field. The world needs artists, people need to see from other perspectives and states of mind, the world needs creativity to deal with current social and environmental problems. That is what art and design means to me.

During the pandemic we heard a lot about “reinventing ourselves” and that is when I decided that I would try photography as fine art. Soon it became an amazing hobby for me and I figured I would share with the world this new passion that I just found. As Aaron Siskind said:

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

As a travel lover and after living abroad for several years in different countries, photography is what was missing in my life. My only regret is not having my camera sooner! As a person that is very connected with the environment, for each photograph sold one tree will be planted in the Amazon, for my home country Brazil.
